Xena is the miniature horse with the most amazing story. She was born on April 21, 2014 with a deformity in all four legs. At first, she couldn't even stand up because her legs were so weak, and was brought to Trinity Rescue at just 1 day old. Even then, she was full of life and unaware that she had a disability at all. Once she turned three months old, she had a surgery to correct the deformity in her front legs 100%. Her back legs still have some difficulties, but Xena has learned to walk, run, jump, and buck like all of the other horses.
 
Due to Xena's special needs, she has been a permanent sanctuary horse at Trinity Rescue, and they have been training her to be a therapy mini horse. She is working towards becoming a certified therapy mini and will expand her visits to children's hospitals so she can teach them about overcoming adversity and living life to the fullest. Xena is a true Warrior Princess and an inspiration to all that meet her.

Xena measures 10 inches long and is soft, cuddly, and ready to be a part of any family.
