Stitch is the best mix of cuddly and crazy ever created in a golden retriever. He was adopted in 2008 after being found by the McHenry County Adoptions center after wandering around for possibly weeks by himself. At the shelter, Stitch's original name was Pluto, and he always wanted to be cuddled with even as a full grown golden.

Over the years Stitch never lost his bursts of energy and would tackle you like a linebacker if you weren't giving him an appropriate amount of belly rubs. He was truly the sweetest dog and was a gentle giant around kids and other dogs.

Stitch measures 10 inches tall and is soft, cuddly, and ready to be a part of any family. For every Stitch sold, 10% of net sales will be donated back to the shelter he was adopted from: McHenry County Adoptions, and you can read more about Stitch and see pictures on the official Shelter Pets website.

All Shelter Pets come individually bagged with attached hangtags. Shelter Pets are recommended for ages 3 and up.  Learn more about each Shelter Pet's story and the shelter they came from at
