Oakland is the sweetest husky that you'll ever see and is a beautiful pup. He was adopted in 2017 at the age of two from Scott County Animal Rescue in Davenport, Iowa. His original owners surrendered him to the rescue because they were opening a business and would not have time to take care of him.

Now that Oakland has been given another chance at a forever home, he is being trained to be a service dog so he can help others. Oakland now has mastered over 80 tricks including the uncanny ability to balance treats on his nose and catching them. When he was adopted, Oakland only knew three tricks - he has learned over 80 since finding his new family!

Oakland measures 10 inches tall and is soft, cuddly, and ready to be a part of any family. For every Oakland sold, 10% of net sales will be donated back to the shelter he was adopted from: Scott County Animal Rescue, and you can read more about Oakland and see pictures on the official Shelter Pets website.

All Shelter Pets come individually bagged with attached hangtags. Shelter Pets are recommended for ages 3 and up.  Learn more about each Shelter Pet's story and the shelter they came from at
